THE County Press was celebrating this week after its website, iwcp.co.uk, attracted a million page views in a month for the first time.
The June figure of 1,001,705 views, coupled with another record, of 71,068 unique visitors, was the best ever and was boosted by big interest in the Isle of Wight Council election results and Isle of Wight Festival coverage.
Alan Marriott, County Press editor, said: "The hard work of our web team has paid dividends and on paper and online we are, without doubt, the number one news provider on the Island."
