RED Funnel has announced changes to its Red Jet passenger service between Cowes and Southampton tomorrow (Wednesday) as a result of the Premiership clash between Southampton and Aston Villa.
The company said its 9.45pm sailing from Southampton would leave at 10pm and its 10.45pm sailing would sail at 11pm.

Why should Wight link delay that crossing for all three pompey fans, the other four of us on that particular crossing wanted to be home on time... Bridge.. What bridge... Ha ha.. We don't need One and the mainland don't want One....

Nice to see Southampton fans being thought of by Red Funnel. Sadly us Pompey fans can't say the same about Wightlink who have refused all requests to delay their 10.15 fastcat sailing from Portsmouth Harbour by 15 minutes for tonight's match. What makes it worse is that the 10.15 is now the last sailing, so any delayed kick offs, late trains from Fratton etc will result in supporters missing the last ferry. The only other option is the 11.59 car ferry to Fishbourne. Thanks for the wonderful service Wightlink!!!!

Maybe if you ever leave the island Lee you should go shopping in Portsmouth. I hear they cancel ferries when they're at home COYS

Why,,,,, TV programmes are changed during the football season which makes people who hate football rearrange their viewing times, and now ferry timetables too, why do people go to this effort to watch 22 men kick a piece of inflated leather around a field?I enjoy placing individual fallen leaves on top of the roof on County Hall. Can EVERY football fan on the IOW please stand still for the duration that I am proceeding to do this act? Even if it makes you late home, or makes you miss your favourite programme. Thanks.
