EALING has received 39 per cent more Transport for London funding (TfL), £3.75m, than it did last year compared to a nine per cent increase across the rest of London.
The money will boost projects such as walking and cycling initiatives, Safer Routes to School, Home Zones, road maintenance and bus initiatives.
More funding has now been applied for to cover additional schemes including bridge maintenance and work in green spaces. TfL will inform Ealing of allocations for these areas later this month.
