FOG has led to the cancellation of Wightlink sailings this morning (Thursday).

The company has cancelled its 6am, 7am, 8am and *9am sailings from Lymington and its 6.50am, 7.50am, 8.50am and 9.50am sailings from Yarmouth.

In a statement issued at 9am it warned of 30 minute delays on its Fishbourne route, but said its Ryde passenger route was running to advertised timetables.

*Red Funnel warned of delays on its Red Jet passenger service, however sailings were back to normal shortly before 10am.

Hovertravel was operating a shuttle service due to the fog, but sailings are now operating as normal.
