Santa's hare

The festive Arreton hare.

THE Arreton Hare is all set for Christmas.

An anonymous dresser-upper got the roadside sculpture and the accompanying magpies in festive spirit.

The wooden hare, carved by Isle of Wight chainsaw artist Paul Sivell, has found itself modelling a host of costumes over the years.

Last year, to mark the Olympics, he was dubbed Haresain Bolt and was found sporting his own gold medal.
