A SCOOTERIST was involved in an accident on Fairlee Road, Newport this morning (Tuesday).
The 44-year-old man from Ryde was travelling to Newport when the incident happened according to police.
A spokesman said Isle of Wight police and the ambulance service were called at 7.33am and the man was taken to hospital.
*A hospital spokeswoman said he was discharged today (Tuesday).
