KENT Fire Brigade will celebrate making the county a safer place to live at a seminar this week.
The event at Kent County Cricket Ground in Canterbury on Friday will bring together firefighters and Kent County Council to discuss safety initiatives.
Schemes such as Operation Cubit, aimed at reducing car fires, will be in the spotlight as well as plans to target youths.
Chief fire officer Peter Coombs said: “Community safety is a common goal for everyone attending the seminar and it will show what could be achieved in the future by working together.”
