Borehamwood Youth Girls were unlucky not to come away with two wins in matches played against Garston on Saturday.
The opening encounter saw Borehamwood go 1-0 down in a very physical game.
In the second half, Gemma Coots lobbed the keeper and found Hollie Lewis, who knocked the ball into the net to level matters up.
Claire Jamieson performed admirably at the back and a change of keeper saw Tova Brown kick the ball the length of the field to the waiting Gemma Coots, but a lapse of concentration in the final seconds let Garston hit a late equaliser.
In the second match, Borehamwood looked more comfortable and had much more possession of the ball.
Tova Brown scored the only goal from a shot outside the area. Defender Carly Oakly held the defence together.
BOREHAMWOOD: Parkinson, Marshallsay, O'Neill, Coots, Brown, Burns, Jamieson, Oakley, Lewis, Wymer, Hackett.
