Bexley AC gave youth its head in the Division 6 match which saw a mixture of new talent and old hands prove too much for the opposition.

Winners for the club were: Shaun Medlaen in the discus and shot-putt, John Askew in the hammer, Matthew Angell in the long jump and 100m, Peter Angell in the long jump and triple jump, Anton Walker in the 400m, Tim Lumgair in the 400m hurdles and 400m, Jack Lenzan in the 800m and Jay Leslie in the 1,500m.

There were also relay wins for the 4x100m team of Lee Brown, Peter Angell, Tim Lumgair and Matthew Angell and the 4x100m quartet of Anton Walker, Jay Leslie, Jack Lenzan and Ross Jenner.

Meanwhile, the club's youngsters again excelled themselves at a National League match at Erith which saw both the mens and womens teams finishing fourth in their respective matches.

Among many fine efforts were Lee Wilkins and Tony Brewer, who won their respective hammer events and Kimberly Carter coming first in the 400m hurdles.
