RUNNERS are being reminded to sign up for the Mayor of Enfield's third annual fun run.
The event, which raised £3,500 for the mayor's charity last year, will take place at Forty Hall on Sunday, May 14.
This year there is a 3km run for adults and children who are aged eight years and over and a ten km run for men and women aged 16 and over.
Individual runners and teams are advised to enter in advance although they can do so up until half an hour before the first race starts at 10.15am.
All proceeds from the run, sponsored by David Lloyd Leisure, will go to Cllr Eric Smythe's pet charities. The mayor wants cash raised during his year in offfice to go to children with special needs, the terminally ill and elderly people with disabilities.
Entry fees range between £4 and £8. Participants booking in advance will receive a discount.
To submit an entry telephone the Fun Run Hotline on 020 8379 3762.
