POLICE rescued a hapless hound which was spotted wandering down the central reservation of the A10 Great Cambridge Road.
Worried motorists called 999 from mobile phones and police eventually found the dog sitting on the hard shoulder at the entrance to Holmesdale Tunnel last Thursday morning.
