ThE New Years Eves fireworks display at Crystal Palace is expected to be so popular the council is asking spectators to go by bus and train instead of driving.
The £60,000 spectacular starts at 7pm when Mayor David Crowe sets off the display, but the venue will open at 5.30pm and there will be a beacon-lighting ceremony before the display.
The event includes music, and food and drink will be available.
Limited parking will be at the venue but organisers are asking people to walk if at all possible.
Bromley Council says, if weather conditions are good, the fireworks will be visible across south-east London.
