TABLE tennis star Jon Baker played the tournament of his life when he won bronze at the National Special Olympics Table Tennis Competition in Crewe.

Representing the southern region, Jon was played in Division 1 of the competition, a big step up from his last outing at the competition when he was in the third division.

But the in-form player showed his class to take third spot.

While there he also entered the open competition, which he won to take home the BTTA Shield.

Jacqui Phillipson, team manager, thanked Jon’s coach, Jill Fothergill, and the Feltham family for their support.
