ELEVEN young volunteers from The Prince's Trust did a sponsored walk to raise money for a care home.
The youngsters planned to raise £250 to help them buy materials to redecorate the lounge of Kingswood House, Valley Road, Shortlands.
All work on the building will be undertaken by the volunteers themselves, who are based at the Prince's Trust, Bromley Team 21 at Bromley Town Church.
Led by Katherine Evans, the group walked the six miles from Bromley town centre to Orpington, via News Shopper offices in Petts Wood.
The 11, all with dyed hair, carried collection buckets.
