Dulwich came back from an abysmal first half performance to practically ensure their Premier League survival with a thrilling 3-2 victory over rock bottom Oxford on Saturday.
Trailing 2-0 after just 13 minutes Hamlet managed to struggle through to the break and then blitzed their lowly opposition with three goals in the final 20 minutes.
But, with a quarter of an hour gone, it looked as though Dulwich were going to go down with a whimper.
A defensive lapse in the seventh minute gave possession away cheaply and former Chelsea winger Peter Rhoades-Brown crossed for Ian Concannon to head in from close range.
Just six minutes later another lack of concentration allowed Oxford to grab a second despite a fine save from Darren Williams.
The home side managed to compose themselves and missed a couple of chances through Steve McKinn but were thankful to get the chance to regroup at half time.
And the fans saw a vastly improved second half showing, though they had to wait until the 69th minute for the first goal.
Sub Dean Holness headed in from close range to make it 2-1 and within 10 minutes Oxford's lead was wiped out when man of the match Steve McKinn skipped down the right and crossed for Steve Restarick who converted with a glorious diving header.
The comeback was completed in the 87th minute when McKinn sealed his star performance with a stunning winner. He jinked his way past a couple of challenges before firing home into the bottom corner.
