Haringey tree warden Mary Louise Craine joined over 200 colleagues last weekend to branch out their knowledge on London's trees.
Mary Louise, from Mannock Road, Wood Green, learned about how neglect, pollution, vandalism and underground trenching is affecting the trees in the capital from leading environmentalists.
The day long forum was held at the Royal Society of Art in central London and Mary Louise (left) heard talks from actor Norman Painting (centre), who is vice- president of the Tree Council, and leading environment broadcaster Professor Chris Baines (right).
