WITH Furness FC's first team not playing last weekend, reserve team manager Danny Fernley had a wider range of players to choose from for the match against Bly Spartans.
Furness played well and two good crosses by player-manager Fernley set up goals for Eddie Jones and Jimmy Nicholls.
But Bly took advantage of Furness missing a couple of good other chances to eventually win 3-2.
This weekend, Furness reserves travel to play Old Bexlians.
