Well End dominated this match with some crisp passing and movement in one of their best performances of the season.

The only surprise was that it took them ten minutes to open the scoring, and it owed much to the indecision of the Cassiobury keeper.

The ball was floated into the area, the keeper failed to clear his lines and Carl Davies smashed the ball high into the net.

Two minutes later, Carl Davies added his second. At the other end, rookie Well End keeper Mark Applebee was being protected by some inspired defending from Lee Stochini, but neither could do anything about a Cassio shot that crept into the far corner, halving the deficit.

Well End came out with all guns blazing in the second half, and it was not long before Carl Davies had completed his hat-trick.

Man-of-the-match Matthew Drinkall then took over and added two more goals of individual brilliance.

The second started when he picked up the ball wide on the right. He went past three defenders and fired in from an acute angle.

Cassiobury went close at the other end with a chipped shot, which Mark Applebee just managed to tip over the bar.

Cassiobury managed a second goal, before Carl Davies capped a superb display with his fourth, and Well Ends' sixth, for a victory that guarantees Well End a third place finish in the league.
