Seasonal songs: youngsters from St John's School in Whetstone delighted shoppers with a festive carol concert around the High Road Christmas tree on Friday. Around 60 pupils from the Swan Lane Primary School gathered outside the HSBC bank to raise money for the Mayor of Barnet's charity appeal, Safe Start Foundation, aimed at helping the homeless.
