A 14-YEAR-OLD girl from Northfleet could become the subject of Gravesham Council's first Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO).

The teenager, who at this stage can not be named for legal reasons, has made life hell for her neighbours with abuse and racist graffiti, the council claims.

Legal officers at Gravesham have compiled a long list of allegations to take to court.

Magistrates will have to decide whether to make the order preventing her from committing more acts.

A council spokesman said: “Our application alleges anti-social behaviour including foul, offensive and racist language.

“It also includes one incident of assault on another young person, which involved forced entry to that person's home and criminal damage.”

The girl is also accused of throwing stones at people and property and being “offensive, threatening or insulting to residents and visitors”.

The News Shopper has learned that Gravesham will call more than a dozen witnesses to support their application and testify to the girl's behaviour.

Normally, when youths appear in court, newspapers are prevented from identifying them but these restrictions can be lifted.

This case will be reviewed on November 27 and a date has been set for trial in December.

We will be fighting for your right to know who this girl is should the ASBO be granted.
