FORMER Ryde player Calvin Dickinson became the latest Isle of Wight-linked player to appear on the county cricket stage.
The 21-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman opened the batting for Hampshire in their NatWest T20 Blast victory over Glamorgan at the Agaeas Bowl last night (Thursday).
Although he was trapped LBW for three, he made two stumpings off the Hampshire leg spin twins Mason Crane and Shahid Afridi.

Calvin went to school in Ryde and started his cricketing career on the Island.
Island cricketer Adam Hose has been playing for Warwickshire and Danny Briggs continues to play for Sussex.
