A JORDAN Langdon century helped steer Shanklin and Godshill II to a four-wicket victory over St Helens in Division 1 of the Island League.

The home side elected to bat, reaching 228 all out, with opener Mark Watson clean bowled by Norton Mew for 96.

Shanklin (232-6) reached their target with a little breathing space, Langdon out for exactly 100. 

Northwood made light work of Ventnor III.

After putting them into bat, Northwood's bowlers took wickets on a regular basis, bowling them out for 100 — Dan Ward (4-29) spearheading the attack.

Northwood (102-2) reached their target in 21 overs, with Martyn Richards top scoring with 41 not out, well supported by George Griffiths (31 not out).
